  11. I'd just thought I'd let everyone know that I got Maven working.
  12. _But_ it only works when using another program on the other 
  13. end, such as NetPhone.

  15. NetPhone also works, but only the commercial version!  The
  16. demo version will crash ShapeShifter before it even gets done
  17. loading, but the commercial version works perfect.  Who knows
  18. why...

  20. So, in my experimentation, I got Maven working on my Amiga
  21. under ShapeShifter by talking to a friend who was using 
  22. NetPhone on the other side.  Strange enough, Maven doesn't work
  23. with Maven!!  It'll play garbage through the speakers when the other
  24. person talks...argh.

  26. The way to make Maven and NetPhone work together is to tell
  27. NetPhone to use the 'vat' protocol (you can find it under the
  28. 'New Call' menu item).  Just make a new call and instead of the
  29. 'NetPhone' protocol, push on the list button and it'll have NetPhone
  30. and 'vat' listed.  Select 'vat'.

  32. I haven't fully tested to see if this all works with a digitizer
  33. under SS since I don't have one yet (I should have one in a couple
  34. days or so).  And I was using a 14.4Kb modem on my end, which was
  35. VERY slow and unusable.  My 28.8 modem should also be here in 
  36. a couple days. :)
